Back on Maui
Ian is now back on Maui. At his last contest in New Zealand…..the last day after the contest was over, he cut the top of his foot/toe on some glass. He ended up needing a bunch of stitches and has been out of the water for a couple weeks now. Ian will go to the doctor this Friday to have the stitches removed and he is frothing to get back in the water. In the meantime, he has been catching up with homeschool, doing a bunch of interviews for magazines and hanging out with his friends. Below are some shots from his interview with photographer Erik Aeder for an upcoming feature on Ian in the magazines.
