Ian is now in Newport Beach, CA prepping for the Volcom VQS contest from May 13-16th. We arrived today and went for a surf at the contest site (54th street.) Surf was super small and windy with tons of current. Swell is looking better on Thurday and thru the weekend.
Ian is now back on Maui after the Telos trip. The trip went well with waves in the 2-5ft range while in Telos and a couple days of solid 6ft while on the boat in the Mentawais. On the trip was Ian, Conner Coffin from California, Jack Robinson from Oz, Ciao Ibella from [...]
Ian is just wrapping up a 12 day filming photo trip with Stab Magazine. Here are a couple of frame grabs. More to come.
Ian is still in California at the US Open. He will be leaving for the Stab magazine photo/film shoot in the Mentawais on Monday.
